Silverstone Park

Silverstone latest news tempSilverstone Park is a technology park next to the Silverstone Grand Prix Circuit and at the centre of the UK’s high-performance technology and motorsport cluster. The estate includes over 60 companies and 250,000 sq. m of development land. Silverstone is an international brand and the home to Formula 1, with eight of the 11 F1 teams in close geographic proximity to the circuit. Around 3,500 companies associated with motorsport are based in the area employing around 40,000 people, including around 80 per cent of the world’s high-performance engineers.

Site K at Silverstone Park will facilitate the delivery of 99,000 sq.m of new commericial floor space and over 2,000 jobs, with phase one now under construction.

Where is Silverstone Park?

Silverstone Park (Site K) is based in North Buckinghamshire on the border with Northamptonshire and access gained directly from the A43 which in turn links to the M1 and M40 motorways.

Westcott Venture Park

Home page Westcott Venture ParkWestcott Venture Park is a 265,000 sq. m strategic employment site which is well placed to develop as a centre of space propulsion and environmental engineering, building on Buckinghamshire’s significant strengths in the space sector. High-tech research and development in the fields of satellite and future propulsion systems is concentrated at Westcott, with a primary cluster of UK space organisations all using the test facilities that exist on site.

The Westcott Venture Park, with its historic links to propulsion technology, will facilitate the delivery of 72,000 sq.m of new commercial floor space and up to 880 skilled jobs.

In addition, the announcement from the UK Space Agency to invest over £4m in a National Propulsion Test Facility at Westcott, will put Bucks on the global map as a centre of excellence in space technology testing.

Where is Westcott Venture Park?

Westcott Venture Park fronts the A41 between Aylesbury and Bicester providing fast access to the UK Motorway network.

Aylesbury Woodlands siteArla / Woodlands has significant scope for stimulating increased employment in the agri-food and human health sectors in the east of Aylesbury, building on links to the Arla super dairy, the wider food science strengths of Buckinghamshire and the work that is going on to create a healthy living new town. Aylesbury Woodlands will deliver employment floor-space and up to 1,100 residential dwellings, with commercial leisure supporting retail, sport and recreational facilities set in extensive green infrastructure, and the delivery of the Eastern Link Road South. These two developments present a unique opportunity to establish a nationally significant food science enterprise zone in the UK.

Arla/Woodlands site will facilitate the delivery of c. 150,000 sq.m of new commericial floor space and over 7,000 jobs.

Where is Arla / Woodlands?

Arla / Woodlands is located to the East of Aylesbury and is bounded to the south by the A41, to the north by the Grand Union Canal; to the east the Arla dairy and to the west the existing urban edge of Aylesbury.
